Our Courses

Our growing course catalog includes training for residents and non-residents, with course availability depending on applicable state laws, issuing-agency policies, and instructor participation.

Courses may include:

California Initial CCW Training

Online educational coursework for eligible California resident and non-resident applicants. When required, students must also complete a separate in-person live-fire qualification with an authorized instructor before receiving their final CCW training certificate.

California CCW Renewal Training

Updated renewal education covering firearm safety, legal responsibilities, de-escalation, mental health, use of force, and other subjects required for responsible concealed carry. A separate live-fire qualification may also be required.

Arizona Concealed Carry Certification

Online Arizona concealed-carry education for eligible residents and non-residents. The course addresses firearm safety, Arizona weapons laws, prohibited locations, justification laws, defensive decision-making, and permit responsibilities.

California Court-Ordered Firearm Safety Training

An eight-hour online course focused on firearm safety, safe storage, legal responsibility, child-access prevention, prohibited possession, transportation, and other subjects commonly associated with court-ordered firearm education.

Additional courses and instructor programs may be added as laws, training standards, and student needs continue to develop.

Firearm ownership and concealed carry involve serious legal and personal responsibilities. Our courses are designed to communicate those responsibilities clearly.

We do not believe in simply moving students through a course as quickly as possible. Students are expected to review the material, complete the required training time, pass applicable quizzes or examinations, and comply with all additional requirements established by their instructor or issuing agency.

Course material is periodically reviewed and updated to address relevant legal changes, regulatory developments, and evolving training standards. Because firearm laws and agency procedures can change, students should always confirm current requirements directly with the government agency responsible for their application.

Training Requirements Vary

Online course completion does not automatically authorize a person to purchase, possess, carry, or use a firearm.

Depending on the course and jurisdiction, students may also be required to complete:

• An in-person live-fire qualification
• Fingerprinting
• A criminal-background investigation
• A government application
• Psychological screening or an interview
• Additional training required by an issuing agency
• State, local, application, fingerprinting, or processing fees

Each student is responsible for confirming eligibility and complying with the requirements, policies, procedures, and deadlines of the applicable court, law-enforcement agency, permitting authority, or other government entity.
